Easter Recap

For Easter, my Grandma & Grandpa Johnson came to visit for the weekend.  We had a lot of fun taking walks at the park, coloring Easter Eggs and enjoying the great weather. On Easter Sunday, my Aunt Nisa, Uncle Bob and cousins came over for lunch, and then we went to my Great Aunt Marcia & Great Uncle Greg's house for dinner.  It was a day full of family, good food and enough egg hunts to last me until next year.  My oldest cousin Addie hid some of the eggs so well that there are still some hidden in the backyard (that's not a joke)!  Mom said that they'll turn up eventually... :)  Oh well!  It was fun.

It was a little chilly, but I stayed cozy under my blanket.

I got a little cranky towards the end, so mommy had to carry me.  She said it was a 'good workout'. :)

That night, we dyed Easter eggs.  This was my special egg.  (daddy's special egg said, "Big Jeff")

And the next morning, we went on a egg hunt.  Well, I actually watched.  Next year I'm going to help.

Around noon, my aunt, uncle and cousins came over for lunch.  There was a flurry of activity in the kitchen and dining room but I slept through most of it!  After lunch, we went outside for some pictures.

While outside, I even got to go for a ride on daddy's shoulders!

And then we went back inside where Uncle Bob played with me (note my shirt... I finally got dressed!)

A short while later, everyone packed up and we went over to the Rigling's house where I got to see my Grandpa and Grandma Savage, my Great Aunt & Uncle Rigling and some of my second cousins!  It was a lot of fun and a nice way to end our Easter Sunday.  I can't wait for next year!
