Jeffrey's First Week

Because of the C-Section, Jeff and I were able to stay up to 4 days in the hospital.  We took full advantage of the opportunity and stayed the entire time.  Sleeping was more than a little difficult, but we loved having all of the help and advice of the nursing staff.  The nurses who work in 9 South are amazing!  Plus, it was nice to have the extra time to recover from the surgery.

Here are a few pictures from our time there.  Little Jeffrey had lots of visitors and even got some flowers!  He was certainly a popular guy.

Jeff sharing the good news: "I'm a DADDY!!"
Our little family.
Is that a hint of a smile?
Grandma and Grandpa Savage with their new grandson.
The Johnson family - Uncle Bob, cousins Liana & Addie and Grandpa and Grandma Johnson
Sound asleep in his little bassinet after all of the excitement.
Proud Grandpas.
Father and son.
Look at all of that hair!  I love the little swirl.
He is just SO SWEET!
I love the way he sucks on his bottom lip :)
There is nothing better than holding a sleeping baby to your chest.
Grandpa J with his first grandson.
Aunt Julie stopped by to meet the little guy - and brought him some OSU gear!
Flowers from Grandma & Grandpa Johnson.  They definitely made our hospital room a little more cheery.
And more beautiful flowers and this cuddly guy from Aunt Erica, Uncle Chris and Cousin Mackenzie!  Thanks!!
Before we knew it, it was time to go home...
Time to go see your new house, your new room, and meet your new puppy, Miley!
One more shot with daddy.
Quack, quack, quack :)
Alert and ready to go, mom!
