Today, Monday 8/15, marks 37 weeks of pregnancy for Mommy and little Baby Savage. How incredible is that? And we have reason to celebrate - he is now considered to be full-term! Based on averages, he should weigh more than 6 pounds, measure 20 to 21" long, and be fully developed. In the remaining weeks, he will continue to put on more baby fat (to keep him warm post-delivery) and we sure are getting anxious to squeeze those little cheeks!
At our OB appointment last week, the doctor confirmed that he is also presenting head down, which is great news! I'm still feeling really great, although sleeping has become an issue... I may have broken the record for the number of pillows needed in bed at one time. Otherwise, I'm still working, doing pictures on the side and even went bowling on Saturday night! (and beat Jeff in the first two games, btw!)
For the last week or so, I've woken up wondering, "Is today is the day that we'll finally get to meet our son?" The countdown is officially on.
