Shower Time

Last weekend was our first baby shower in Hamilton, graciously hosted by Alena Wong, Angel Cianchetti and Margie Davin.  The party was great, the games were fun (Yay for Diane and Marsha!) and it was certainly nice to catch up with everyone.  Baby Savage received lots of great gifts including his highchair, car seat, lots of great books and bath toys, and a ton of other items.  The generosity of our friends and family was very overwhelming and we can't say thank-you enough.

The centerpieces on the tables were sooo cute!  Alena made them out of baby wash clothes, onesies and receiving blankets, and of course I took pictures of them.  See below:

Don't you just love these?  Thanks Alena for all of the time you spent putting these together!  

We've slowly been working to find homes for all of our shower gifts in the nursery.  Fortunately, we've had some much-needed help from Shelly's mom this week, who is staying with us until next Monday.  She's the magical, energy-filled fairy that Shelly had been wishing for!  

One last note:  Of all the gifts that we received, I think that this was Jeff's favorite.  Our little guy is destined to be a saver!
