Happy 4th of July!

Happy Birthday, America!
The view from Shelly's parent's front porch...

We hope that all of our friends and family had a wonderful 4th of July holiday.  Unbelievably, the holiday marked the beginning of week 31 in Baby Savage's development.  Our little guy is getting BIG!  (and so is his mom...)  With only 8 weeks and a handfull of days to go, we're starting to get a little nervous... :)

We spent our 4th of July in Wisconsin visiting Shelly's parents and extended family.  Her cousin, Theresa, got married there on Saturday also, which was a lot of fun!  It was nice catching up with family one last time before the baby arrives.

Here's a shot of Shelly, gettin' down on the family farm :)  (fyi: this photo was completely staged - there was no pitch fork action happening this weekend)

And here is Jeff, taking the ATV & the dog, Riley, out for spin around the 80 acres.

Week 31 Milestones:
- Baby Savage weighs approximately 3.5 lbs this week, although he's going to pack on another 3 to 5lbs before D-day!
- He's nearly 18 inches long now from head to toe
- He's making faces, swallowing, breathing and maybe even sucking his thumb
- He's also putting in longer stretches of sleep (I wish that I could!  The fatigue that I experienced in the 1st trimester is back - yuck!)
