Turtle Time

Jeffrey has a turtle that hangs in his crib, which has twinkling lights and plays soothing music.  We play it for him most nights before bedtime, or when he's being a little cranky.  (music will immediately stop him from crying.  It's GREAT!)

A week or two ago while he was napping, I heard the turtle's music playing through our baby monitor.  I turned on the video to see that Jeffrey had rolled over and pushed the button on the turtle to play the music.  For the next 10 minutes he laid there, quietly listening, pushing the button every few minutes to keep the music playing.  I had no idea that he could do it himself.  He's continued his new trick ever since!

In the mornings, I sit him up in his crib so that he can get a better look at the turtle and play music.  He loves it!
