If I had to sum up the day however in one word, it would be Turduckhen. That's right, this year will go down as the Thanksgiving that we tried the illustrious 3-meat delicacy. I think it will be remembered more for the hype than the taste however. In my opinion, the gravy & infinite side dishes saved the day! :)
Anyway, here are just a few pictures from our Thanksgiving holiday. We had a lot of fun and were so glad to have Erica, Chris, Mackenzie and baby Matthew in town to celebrate!
The turkey/duck/chicken combination, more fondly known as Turduckhen is pictured below! Although it received mixed reviews, it certainly looks delicious don't you think?
A few of the other side dishes... there was a TON of food for just 9 people! This picture makes me hungry... green beans, corn, carrots, mashed potatoes, stuffing... YUM!
